About the event

This tour of Northland Avenue will introduce participants to the history of this notable industrial district and the role of the Beltline railroad. The tour will place the Corridor within the context of Buffalo's industrial growth and how its structures exemplify the evolution of industrial architecture. Featured will be the development of Niagara Machine & Tool Works and its recent restoration and activation as the home of the Northland Workforce Training Center.
Meet at the Northland Avenue Park at Northland & Winchester Avenues, at 577 Northland Avenue. The tour is approximately ninety minutes in length and approximately 0.7 miles of walking.
