Northland Beltline Corridor Walking Tour
About the event
This tour of Northland Avenue will introduce participants to the history of this notable industrial district and the role of the Beltline railroad. The tour will place the Corridor within the context of Buffalo's industrial growth and how its structures exemplify the evolution of industrial architecture. Featured will be the development of Niagara Machine & Tool Works and its recent restoration and activation as the home of the Northland Workforce Training Center.
Meet at the Northland Avenue Park at Northland & Winchester Avenues, at 577 Northland Avenue. The tour is approximately ninety minutes in length and approximately 0.7 miles of walking.
Tour Procedures & Policies:
Reservations are required for all tours, including for Explorer Pass members. Walk-ups without reservations cannot be accommodated. Tours are generally limited to a maximum of 18 people per group.
Reservations close two hours before the tour's scheduled start time (for example, reservations close at 8am for a 10am tour).

The Explore Buffalo docent for your tour will have a list of tour reservations for their tour; you do not need to print or bring any tour confirmation.
Accessibility: This tour is fully accessible: the sidewalks along Northland Avenue have all been recently replaced and are in excellent condition.
