On April 28, 2026, we checked in to this hotel in Carson City, Nevada. Checking in was a pleasant experience and went smoothly. We are travelers that do not demand daily room service, making our bed not needing much attention except for personal needs. However, I must bring attention to a few bad experiences we had especially on Friday evening May 1, involving this one front desk attendant. We had been gone all day and had expected a visit to our room, mainly for needed towels. Our room had not been serviced for the previous 3 days. On one occasion my wife had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper, returning saying the lady was angry for having to get her a roll of toilet paper. Fast forward to Friday night, May 1, returning from dinner we found our room had not been visited nor serviced with towels as they all had been used. Our used towels and washcloths were neatly folded next to the bathtub, and we needed a fresh set of towels for our last night. I went to the front check-in counter, as usual there was no one there, I said hello, then knocked on the countertop. (there is no ringer bell to get service). A lady appeared, she had dark hair with yellow streaks in her hair. I asked her for a set of towels and a coffee packet, she said that “we don’t offer towels until after 4 days” referring to an apparent hotel policy, I did say that is ‘bull shit’ at which time she became very angry pointing a finger at me saying, “don’t cuss at me”. Note: our room has not had any service for the last three days. She said that I was being aggressive and that she did not have to take it from me and would call her supervisor. Then left me out front when another lady came and went to the back room with her. After waiting some time, the clerk with the blond streaks come back from the back room, she said I was being aggressive, I said you are being arrogant. Then I give her my name, told her my room number and asked for her name she said, “I don’t have to tell you that”. She then threatened to call the police. I said go ahead but at least give us a packet of coffee, she put a packet of coffee on the counter and I departed. She called the Police on me for asking for a set of towels. Later, a Sheriff’s Sergeant visited our room, saying the front desk clerk said I was being aggressive to her and he asked for my side. He also said that the staff threatened to make me leave the hotel. I informed the Sergeant that this was all about me wanting a set of towels. We had paid $513 for 4 nights and we could be ejected, why? I explained that I never physically or verbally threatened the clerk in any way. My complaint was about what she said was hotel policy. I had paid for four night she had apparently wanted to throw me and my wife out. For whatever reason the woman had became unhinged. I assured the Sergeant that I would have no further contact with the woman and that we were leaving in the morning. Be advised; I am an eighty-two-year-old, disabled veteran. I am not a threatening person, it was this woman, who was angry and more verbally aggressor in her over reactions to questions, for instance, she could have told me to bring our used towels to turn them in for clean towels. We had good services from other front desk clerks but a few, but not all, had bad attitudes which was apparent to other guests as well. There had been no actual physical treat made to the front desk clerk nor was there ever any verbal threats made against her. As a paying hotel guests, my elderly wife and I suffered the indignity of having the police called on us for a frivolous reason and suffering the humiliating consequent. All of this as a result of the front desk clerk’s lack of professionalism and her angry overreaction. This totally ruined what had been a pleasant stay at a nice hotel.

Rooms and motel are clean. Cleaning staff and the night clerks are great but they need to get rid of the ladies at the front desk during the day - they seem so miserable and are eager to pass their misery to their customers

This is my favorite hotel in Nevada. I always stay here because the staff's customer service is top at the line amazing people specifically the receptionist Courtney her customer service is top notch. This hotel has beautiful views. And it has nice clean rooms. It's got nice little kitchen for families that can be very usefull. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had a stay at this location. I’ve stayed at multiple of these other locations. All of those other locations had utensils and cookware this place doesn’t. I spoke with the front desk and was notified that they won’t provide them to customers. Also mornings the coffee station was empty with room temperature coffee.
