We've been staying at the Plaza twice a year for about 8 yrs now. We were just there June 5th weekend. Very disappointed. I called twice to verify my change of dates which was fine but was never told about the remodeling going on. We were put in the back building #2 on the 2nd floor. The room looked ok but, the toilet seat was missing a bolt on the seat so when you'd sit down it slid to the left. The blackout curtains had several wholes in it too. When I rolled down the bed spread, it was filthy and the underside. Again we've been staying for years in the main hotel with no problems. This was an absolute disappointment.
Our stay was comfortable, the staff was very friendly, it offers free parking, and the breakfast was very simple—but for the price, I thought everything was excellent.
We stay here every year. The rooms are cozy, but sparse. The free breakfast is simple, more like just pastries and juice. And doesn't start till 7. But overall it's a nice place to stay
The staff here is so sweet and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, and very cozy feeling. They even include a free breakfast, which is always appreciated while on the road. Highly recommend staying here 😊
As of 4/12/26 this hotel is being renovated. You can still book online but the hotel is NOT operational, which is not advertised anywhere! Beware!
This is a dated motel, with "Building 1" currently closed for renovations. The office is located behind Building 1, in Building 2. We were lodged in Building 2, on the ground floor. Our room was spacious, with newer vinyl flooring. The room showed its age in the need for paint, an older toilet and countertops, and a few chunks out of the baseboards. However, the beds were *very nice, with newer mattresses, linens and covers. The bathroom linens weren't new, but they were clean and not stained. The kitchenette included a sink, countertop, fridge, and microwave. There was also a large TV. The staff were friendly, the free Continental breakfast was fresh and included many offerings, like toast, bagels, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, waffles, milk, OJ, coffee, and tea. I would give it 5 stars, except people might find that deceptive considering the obvious deferred updates and maintenance.
