REALLY NICE FOLKS!!! They were a pleasure to work with and were willing to refund past the cancellation deadline due to extenuating circumstances without any hassle.

Honest hotel review for the night before the cruise. I would not recommend staying at MainStay Suites Chesapeake Greenbrier. Our room was in poor condition from the moment we arrived. The bathroom was dirty, the room itself was not properly cleaned, and pieces of furniture had visible holes and damage. The most frustrating issue was the curtains, which did not fully close. Extremely bright exterior lights shined into the room all night, making it difficult for our entire family to get any sleep. When we brought our concerns to management, the experience only got worse. The General Manager was unhelpful, dismissive, and came across as arrogant rather than interested in resolving legitimate guest concerns. There was no effort made to further the situation. Between the cleanliness issues, damaged furnishings, lack of sleep, and poor customer service, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. We will not be returning.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the room was very clean and spacious. As a person who is picky about hotels, this one did not disappoint!

Nice clean hotel. Loved the full kitchen. Had some meals in the room when we didn't feel hungry enough for a full restaurant meal. Staff is super friendly.
