Stayed here 2 nights. One of the best hotel breakfasts- had fresh berries and hot food options. Room was nice too as well as staff.
The manager and the receptionist exhibited very unpleasant, disrespectful, and rude behavior. I would never return to this hotel or recommend it, particularly if you have young children or are traveling in a large group.
Asked to use the bathroom and the guy at the front desk looked at me funny and said it's only for guests, all I had to do was the number 1. I bet if it was someone else it wouldn't have been a problem
I called front desk in the evening before arriving, and they said I get late checkout with my status upto 2pm and if I need to checkout at 4 pm then I need to pay extra $30, which is fine. But when I was checking in, front desk gentleman told me that I can not stay beyond 2 pm or I have to pay for full extra day. When I told him that I call hotel earlier and they told me as above then he said I am lying or I may have called somewhere else. So, I told him I will talk to Manager in the morning. In the morning desk person told me he cannot give me more then 2 pm check out time if my status is Global then I can get few hrs extra. I said I can pay then he said they are full. And can not do anything. I checked online and see they were half empty. I stayed Hyatt every Quarter for business and they never treated like this. I told them I was there for funeral and need one hr extra before I drive back to Atl. But no help at all. I been long time customer of Hyatt but now I may have to move to other brands.
Location not the issue. Rooms way below Hyatt standard. Gnats in room, stains on pillows, worn out furniture, stain/cracks in wall and ceiling. Bathrooms are a complete joke and also not as displayed on website. Had a party van sitting directly outside the lobby doors blaring music over 10 minutes after 10pm. When bringing issues to staff attention offered free sodas. Why have phones in the room if they don't work. Room numbers taped on doors. Its more like a motel than a hotel.
Decent hotel. Great breakfast! I will stay again.
