About this place District West

District West is a gay bar and nightclub on North 5th Street in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a dedicated LGBTQ venue that mixes a bar for drinks with DJ nights, drag shows and themed parties. Google reviewers rate it 4.6 across about 150 reviews. The hours aren't on file. As with most clubs, it is quiet early in the week and busiest late on Friday and Saturday, so check the website or social pages for the current line-up. Columbus has one of the larger gay scenes in the Midwest, centred on the Short North and German Village. Downtown sits between them, so a rideshare makes a bar crawl easy.
