Gay Softball World Series
About This Event
The Gay Softball World Series is the championship of International Pride Softball, formerly known as NAGAAA. It's a week-long tournament where teams from LGBTQ+ softball leagues in the US and Canada compete in divisions based on skill level. Each year, a different city hosts the event, and at night, the local bars are packed with players.
It typically takes place in late August or early September. In 2026, Columbus, Ohio hosted the tournament from August 30 to September 5 at the Berliner Sports Complex - its fourth time as host. Over 230 teams and around 5,000 athletes were expected to participate, according to sports-tourism coverage.
The 50th series is set for San Francisco in 2027, where the tournament originated in 1977. The San Francisco Gay Softball League will be the local host. As of now, the 2027 dates haven't been announced.
