The stay was fine until the day of check out (June 19, 2026). There was a really bad storm. Woke up at around 6:30 am to the cable flickering on and off. Then around 9am, lights started going on and off until finally they never came back on. We decided to check out early because at least at home I can have electricity. It's pitch black in the hallways and of course we took the stairs. Asked if there was going to be anything done for the inconvenience to the customers, and the answer was no. Won't be staying here again!
Had a great staycation with the girls!!
Extremely disappoint in this establishment, paying this much money for amenities and then getting a TEXT the day before my reservation the rooftop wouldn’t be able for us to access is unbelievable. Not even a call, a text.
I am a frequent guest of this establishment. My husband and stay here twice a year (my birthday and NYE) and frequently stop in for lunch and a drink from the bar on random days as we live in the city. I decided this year for my 55th Birthday to do a girlfriend's getaway. Everything was great, and we had a wonderful time, however, on my last day, I woke up with 14 insect bites concentrated on the left side of my body from my neck down to my arms and waiste. I called in and reported the situation because of concern for others, as well as fir myself, my body reacts horribly to insect bites. After speaking with the staff, she said she was the Supv, Ms. Alyssa, I was told that after the hotel's examination of the room, nothing was found. I was offered $23 off my two night stay of $885.31. Very disheartening and insulting to say the least. Not that I called for money back, but really Canvas! This is definitely not the level of care or patronage I expected from you. My Suite was #408...beware and proceed with caution!
Booked this boutique hotel in advance for one-night stay to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a few of her friends and were looking forward to the rooftop skyline and pool. Less than 24 hours prior to our stay, we were told these amenities would not be available as the space had been rented for a private party. Not exactly the kind of treatment I would expect for a high end establishment but I guess money talks. Unfortunately, this put us in a tailspin to find last minute accommodations in a market already saturated due to the 2026 World Cup. Luckily the hotel agreed to provide a full refund on our stay but the disregard for our time and plans was unbelievable. Buyer beware!
