Great hotel! Very clean rooms, great staff and walkable to food, ice cream, and shops. We loved it, also loved the turntable in the room and the albums in the lobby were a great touch!

We stayed at the Oxbow Hotel for a Wedding who had held a "block" that were priced pretty inexpensive. We didn't realize this was also a "Motel" and ended up in a motel room with outside access. The room was clean but loud with road noise and neighbors. It was a typical remodeled old motel room. The help at the desk ranged from very nice to absolutely unhelpful with no answers to any questions or even trying to help. Be careful that you know what you are reserving. The restaurant/bar is lovely. It is walkable to downtown which is great!

Rooms were okay but dingy. Staff was cool except a couple of people I interacted with were rude. The Lakely was awesome- great events and staff/service.

As someone who used to travel for work, I’ve booked and stayed at hundreds of hotels—this was, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had. I arrived 20 minutes after check-in to find an empty front desk. I waited 5–10 minutes before the woman finally showed up. The room I checked into bore no resemblance to the pictures on Booking.com—so much so that I went back downstairs and insisted they’d given me the wrong one. Everything was different: the windows, the view, the tv, the entire layout of the living room. The square footage didn’t match the listing either. It was also the first room on the second floor, so all the noise from the lobby/bar rolled right past my door. I asked to be transferred to a different suite, but she said they were fully booked. I immediately checked the app—sure enough, 4 suites were still available! I pointed it out, and she awkwardly returned to the desk, suddenly claiming they could move me after all. It’s not a fun feeling to have to point out to someone they’re lying—very uncomfortable. Then she added, “Full transparency, we save the nicer suites for customers who book directly with us, not through apps.” WHAT?!? It was unreal. I’d arrived feeling like a million bucks, but between the deceptive room and the staff’s blatant lies, I left feeling angry and scammed. The whole operation felt incredibly amateurish.

Passing through Wisconsin we always wanted to stop here. What a great stop at this hotel, front desk lady who helped check us in was so friendly, 3 parking lots plenty of parking, very cutesy, boutique style. We didn’t have a chance to check out the restaurant this time we will return!

Nice little hotel, but I came to celebrate a graduation and relax, not see your politics in a sign in the front window…. The people are nice, but why would you do that? Literally alienates 1/2 of your guests.
