About this place Vivent Health - Eau Claire

Vivent Health, formerly the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin, has an office at 505 S Dewey Street in Eau Claire serving the Chippewa Valley. It offers free testing for HIV, hepatitis C and STIs, HIV medical care, PrEP and prevention services, and a food pantry for clients. It is a health and social services office, not a social space. Testing hours vary, so check viventhealth.org or call ahead before visiting. For LGBTQ+ residents and visitors in west-central Wisconsin, it is the main local option for sexual-health testing and HIV support.

These things refuse to help me even when they know i'll be homeless in the middle of winter with major health problems, a supervisor here AND in Milwaukee refuse to even return my calls too ! I've been a client since 1992 here , way before any of them, but they are pocketing the resources for themselves now is my guess.

This place is not at the address they have listed, and don't answer the phone during their listed business hours. Guess its like Diagon Alley; it only serves a select portion of the populace, and requires secret magical knowledge to enter. True servants of the downtrodden.

Best place for people who need clean ways of using. They are free and they are kind, compassionate, and non judgemental. I'm grateful to them.
