Express Inn & Suites

Nicely decorated, good breakfast. Fridge was broken, shower door opens on the wrong end so you have to get sprayed by cold water to turn it on. Front desk wasn't very friendly.

My original review was heavily affected by my previous stay next door at the bed bug infested Executive Inn. Management at the Express didn't even know what rooms were reserved or available until an hour before checkout.

Stopped by late at night to check availability, but no one was there so I remained parked in the lot briefly while looking at options on the same block. When I returned, the manager approached me in a way that felt confrontational and intimidating. I understand wanting to monitor the property, but the interaction could have been handled more calmly and professionally. I didn’t end up staying, and the interaction put me off from seeking to stay here in the future.

The door to the lobby was locked when I arrived and there was a phone number to call for service. I had to call three times to reach someone which was very frustrating. Otherwise the room was clean and a good value.

Hotel manager is a menace. Called to address some concerns regarding our room, with mold in so many places, cracked ceilings, constant cigarette stench that caused migraines, not to mention the characters that roam around the Inn during odd night hours. Called ahead of time to inquire about breakfast accommodations and ended not receiving any breakfast during day of the stay. The manager berated me over the phone saying how we (the customer) were supposed to tell her that we expected breakfast (?!). Instead of empathizing with our plea, she instead became extremely offensive, blaming us (the customer) for the hotel's shortcomings. Even threatened to deny the reimbursement request. Which I hope she didn't because otherwise the chargeback that will be filed against this place will be immediate. We were hoping to find a resolution together but the Inn's manager was so unbelievably aggressive that we no longer felt safe staying there or even leaving our belongings in the Inn while we were gone. Don't even bother. The prices are not worth the treatment. The woman working the lobby should not even be allowed to be client-facing despite her claiming that 'she owned the place'. She ended up hanging the phone 3 times after 5 minutes of non-stop screaming at me.

The manager was very accommodating. We appreciate her very much!

Everything about my trip was wonderful! Good location across the street from a gas station and 7-11. It’s within walking distance of many places in the Whittaker. The room was spacious. Service was sweet. The TV didn’t seem to work but thank goodness for cellphones! Overall a great stay for a fair price.

Nice and friendly motel conveniently located close to downtown Eugene and within walking distance of the Amtrak station and attractions such as Skinner Butte Park. Good service and friendly check-in too.

I absolutely love this place, it should have higher stars all the way around

My husband and I were about to get a room and got screamed at by the managers drugged out boyfriend to turn around because there was "no cut through" not even sure what that meant. Then the manager came out of the same room and yelled there was no vacancy. And continued to harass us. Just a totally bizarre scenario. Don't stay here if you want to feel safe.
