Check-in process was very slow (took about 15 minutes due to a long line at 5pm) despite doing pre-check in. I did not like that pre check in caused my card to be charged prior to arrival without my knowledge, and at a much higher price than what I agreed to. Thankfully, they made it right the next day at an even better price. I also had a movie charge of $30 despite only watching college baseball, but they corrected that as well. The room had a bad odor and needed a few deep cleaning things such as the shower drain and the vents showing signs of mold/moisture buildup. Having a poolside room was nice, but the curtains don’t quite block all of the light from the large atrium. Breakfast was great! The restaurant was decent but very convenient. Overall, it is a good value. My kids loved the splash pad and pool, and it’s nice that they have both indoor and outdoor pools.

WiFi is non-functional. The wireless network exists, but it's not connected to any outside network. Rooms starting to show some wear, mine also did not have any chairs on the balcony. Scuffs and chips on/in walls, stained grout on floor, temperature sensor hanging from AC... The hotel layout is needlessly confusing... like flights of stairs that stop on the 2nd floor so you need to find the elevator or walk another 100ft to a different stairwell to get the rest of the way down. Coffee in-room is a plus (it is Starbucks coffee). Though they only provide powdered creamer packets. Not the end of the world, but I expect the powder packets at a Super 8, not an expensive convention center hotel. Feels like a quality mismatch/cutting corners, which is not what you want to do if you want to communicate luxury. Comparable priced/quality hotels typically offer the shelf stable creamer cups that at least have a brand.

Get the balcony room, swim in their amazing pool, and grab a Starbucks coffee from the barista! Clean, friendly, and helpful all around.

This place is absolutely wonderful. We came here after an incredibly bad experience at a 4 diamond hotel downtown, and I was honestly very nervous since this was only 3 stars compared to 4 diamonds, and if a 4 diamond was that bad here, could a 3 star be ok? Answer is YES, 100% yes, and 100% better! We arrived after 9 pm, maybe closer to 10, and the security guard out front knew were were upset and talked with us briefly about what happened at the other hotel and was so kind and reassuring that we were going to be well taken care of, so huge green flag right off the start. The guy who helped us at the front desk was AMAZING and could tell we were anxious from what we just went through, and he was so helpful and kind. The room was gorgeous, and had a balcony looking to the pool area, and I loved that because it was so beautiful. I felt like we had walked into Moon Palace in Jamaica, so gorgeous, especially coming from the dark, dingy, dirty, unsafe hotel we had just tried. I feel absolutely stupid not coming here first, but we had never stayed in a 4 diamond hotel before, so we thought it was going to be something really special, but we were wrong, this is the special place, and it deserves so much more publicity and 1000 more good reviews, management is definitely doing something right here!

Room was so moldy we ended up with headaches, they were super helpful and did move us to a room that was better . Showers were low pressure and even though we had a balcony there were no chairs to be able to hang out on them. The pools were great and fun atmosphere. Lobby was beautiful and the restraunt was delicious.

Room was old and had a smell. Nice hotel otherwise restaurant was good. Friendly staff. Needs to get more rooms updated
