Stayed there twice but last time was charged 20$ for my wife washing her face supposed to use black rag but not one in room. No one was at desk at check in time or check out time but they said we were supposed to come ask for one. Room was also musty smelling and ac was inadequate was willing to overlook it but 20$ for rag pushed me over edge
I usually give hotels some grace but I feel like I need to give a review. We changed our date of check in (decided to come the day before our reservation instead) and they were quick to find us a room. The atmosphere is really cool and the bar/restaurant they have there smelled delicious (we decided to eat somewhere else). The lady who checked us in was super nice. The parking lot is a little frustrating but not really the hotels fault. Our door was really hard to open and close and there was a bug gap between the floor and the bottom of the door. The window had a piece of wood to keep it shut and the window glass was thin and flimsy. It smelled really musky and normally I brush that off but ut was really strong. The connecting door was also torn up and we could hear right through it. The beds looked brand new and the sheets were clean, blankets and bed were really comfortable. So that was a plus. Walking into the bathroom I stepped on a nail that was sticking up out of the carpet, then stepped on a different nail while trying to avoid the first one I stepped on. That was painful. When we woke up there were bugs on our floor (probably from the big gap under the door). The shower was broken as well. The water came out of both the faucet and the shower head but was also shooting out of the thing that you pull to switch from tub to shower (which was incredibly hard to move). It was a comfortable sleep, but the entire experience was very frustrating. I normally try to be understanding but I am really upset with our stay. When I checked out and told the gentleman up front about (most) of it, he apologized and was nice about it. I like the esthetic they are going for but I don't think we will be back, which really suck because I wanted to like this place. My husband may be reaching out because I am really upset, our entire trip had road blocks and the one thing we needed to go right, didn't.
This Lodge needs to invest into upgrading their hotel keys for visitors.
I travel to Eureka Springs every March and have thought about staying at this hotel a few times. The vibes seem really fun, close proximity to every where I go, reasonably priced. I stayed a few weeks ago with my teen daughter, and it was just ok. We were greeted very kindly and given instructions on the electric door locks. Overall it served it's purpose but I won't choose to stay there again.
The pictures are in fact very highly misleading. My mother and I stayed here in May of 2024 And we were not impressed at all. The room is really dark and lights aren't bright enough. The carpet is filthy, torn and needs replaced. The shower is hard to regulate and thus it's easy to get burned. The door to our room has a gap between it and the frame so light came through it. Our smoke alarm decided to wake us both up one morning just out of nowhere. It was ridiculous. Why isn't there a dresser or anywhere for hanging clothes? The parking lot could be in better shape. Oh and guy at the front desk is very unprofessional and quite rude too. He has an attitude regarding getting clean towels and tp. I don't know why employees are so scared of coming to the rooms and picking them up and then putting fresh cleans towels and linens in the room afterwards. We would definitely not stay here ever again given the poor conditions. The hospitality was horrible also The rooms need new door locks.
