Circle Hotel Fairfield

We recently stayed for a long and fun weekend for our son's Fairfield graduation weekend, and I just wanted to, once again, share our thanks and some shout-outs for the wonderful four years we had with numerous stays! Each and every time we arrived, we were always greeted and treated so nicely. Just to name a few...John at check is always so accommodating and great; Wendy so wonderful at each breakfast; Samantha there daily at the desk, always smiling and simply terrific - thanks for the fun fit-checks! A special shout out to Paulo who goes above and beyond with his professionalism, friendliness and making us feel so welcomed with each return visit. Lastly, to Ed who is always there each morning taking care of everything and always so great to chat with! Thank you Circle! Thanks for the bike rides too! We are thrilled that our youngest son will be attending Fairfield and we look forward to the next four years!

Absolutely terrible experience. The room smelled horrible the second we walked in, and the bathroom smelled just as bad. We booked a room for 4 people and were only given 3 towels, and the towels we did get had stains all over them. Completely disgusting. On top of that, 5 days after stay they charge a $10 “facility fee” for WiFi and parking right in front of the room, even though their website clearly says free WiFi and free parking. False advertising at its finest. Called as soon as I saw this fee on my bank account. Customer service was terrible and didn't help with anything. No money back nothing. This place should honestly be called a motel, not a hotel. Save yourself the disappointment and stay somewhere else. STAY AWAY.

I was attending a wedding at Fairfield University & i chose to stay at the Circle Hotel and I' so glad I did. It was so clean & very nicely decorated. The staff was wonderful both on the phone & in person. I would definitely come back.

Samantha checked us in and she was wonderful. Inviting and accommodating. The hotel Clean and wonderful!

The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, both rooms smelled of cat litter or something similar. Despite airing them out for hours with the door open, the smell didn't go away. It was really strong. The water pressure in the shower was practically nonexistent, and with long hair, it took a very long time to shower. The bed linen was a bit stained but otherwise looked clean. We found the parking directly in front of the rooms to be a big plus. In addition, the pool was closed in mid-May (we had temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius), which was very disappointing. Unfortunately, breakfast the next morning was also very disappointing. (My bowl was moldy, but that could have been an exception, as it otherwise looked well-maintained.) There was very little choice. Finally, we had to pay a $5 cleaning fee for each room upon checkout. We didn't expect this and don't understand why, as we were only there for one night. This wasn't mentioned at check-in; this should be changed. Why isn't it included in the price? The restaurants in the area were good. We can recommend the Thai restaurant!

We had an amazing one-night stay at The Circle Hotel! The staff was friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Even for just one night, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Samantha was so awesome. We had a problem with the tv. She did her best to troubleshoot but the issue was beyond a simple reset so she moved us to another room. She even offered help but we had only a couple bags. She was very helpful!!

First we were misled by the add that we getting a King suit, price pictures and all. Than offered a discount that brought the price down, so we accepted. Email says King room we get there and bumped to a Queen room that was sinky, dingy. It also a 100 yards from the main the main building. After raising hell, showing her the confirmation email she “UPGRADED “ me to King Classic , because supposedly no suits available. Expedia also had a hand in this as well. This was the worsted I ever been treated at a Hotel and it did not even phase the host at all, she didn’t care .
