Not very much hospitality at this place. They wanted to charge us $8.00 just to sit by the pool area. If you want to even walk in that area it's a $8.00 fee the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

The inn itself is very beautiful, the grounds are pleasant with easy parking, and the location is quite ideal. The staff were wonderful and courteous throughout my stay. It seems I was in an older room that is slated for renovations, and I'll be the first to admit I did not request a transfer, so I don't want to overly fault the hotel for my experience with the seemingly dated mattress and fitted sheets. The mattress was somewhat mushy and we sank to the middle. It left us feeling less than ideal. That said, we could and probably should have brought this up during our stay. I have since been informed many of the rooms have been updated and the remaining are in process. I would give the Norwalk Inn another shot next year, should the Levitt Pavilion schedule provide a reason to be in town.

Friendly staff. Clean if slightly dated. Would recommend.

I frequently stay in the Norwalk area for business related trips. Several times have been at the Norwalk Inn and I have booked rooms for a conference with my staff. The last 2 times I have stayed have been disheartening. Most recently, I was “upgraded” to a room that had a 3 inch gap from the floor to the bottom of the door (picture included) which was large enough for a child waiting for the elevator to out his foot into my room and I could hear every single noise form the hallway. Requested a new room and was told that none of the rooms I originally booked were available. I asked for a full refund and was told that I would have to contact the 3rd party I booked through, which was my credit card company. After saying that was ridiculous and then getting ready to leave, a room as I booked was found. The WiFi was abysmal and my cell phone didn’t work well anywhere. Previously, I had ordered room service and the food was subpar, especially for the price. Future bookings will be elsewhere for me which is unfortunate because I love the location!

We stayed a night here and I'm glad it wasn't any longer. It was an overpriced room for what we got. The hotel was hot with no control over the AC, the TV didn't work, the bathroom had no lock (it had quite literally been taken out) and the tub would not drain. Very disappointed in the state of the room considering the price point. I would not recommend nor stay at this place again. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the location, friendly staff and the room was at least clean.

My wife and I were considering visiting the Norwalk Inn Restaurant and potentially staying at the hotel, so I decided to stop by and take a look at the property and overall ambiance in person before making plans. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Shortly after arriving, I was confronted by an individual who identified himself as David, who claimed to be the owner of the property, and was questioned about simply driving through to view the premises. As a prospective customer, I found this interaction unwelcoming and unexpected. First impressions matter, and this encounter left me with a negative impression of the establishment. Rather than feeling welcomed as a potential guest, I felt discouraged from visiting. Based on this experience, my wife and I have decided not to return or pursue future business with the property. I hope management will consider how interactions with prospective guests can impact their perception of the business.
