Love this hotel. Room was clean and well appointed. I especially appreciated the 24-hour coffee bar, nespresso in my room with ceramic mugs. Breakfast was great. While the location is not walkable to town, it is easy to get to the highway. Look forward to returning!
I can’t say enough amazing things about this hotel. Sadly I wasn’t staying at the hotel for pleasure; I experienced a death in my family so came up from Houston to be with family etc. Delamar went above and beyond and made such a tragic situation for me so comfortable to come “home to”, as I spent over ten days here. They accommodated everything I could have needed or asked for. Next time I’m visiting my family in CT there is no where else I can stay now! Thank you, Delamar 💔🙏🫶🏻
The Delamar Hotel in Westport was amazing: luxurious, elegant and beautifully designed. My brother and I stayed there for three days for a family event and from check-in — with a complimentary glass of Prosecco - to a very generous late check-out, the experience was flawless. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more gracious, attentive and helpful from manager Vlad to front-desk staffer Giovanna. Excellent breakfast, too. What a remarkable difference between the Delamar and the shabby Marriotts and Hilton Hamptons nearby where we used to stay when visiting Fairfield. .
Outstanding!
My stay at the Delamont Hotel in Westport was very disappointing overall. From the moment I arrived, the experience with the front desk was not welcoming. The staff came across as rude and unprofessional, and they did not handle issues in a calm or helpful way. Any questions or concerns I had were met with attitude rather than support, which made the check-in process uncomfortable. The customer service throughout my stay did not meet expectations. I felt like basic problem-solving was handled poorly, and there was little effort to make guests feel comfortable or respected. Communication at the front desk was often tense, which created a stressful environment rather than a relaxing one. The hotel is also located right next to a highway, which made noise a constant issue. Traffic sounds were noticeable throughout the day and night, and it was difficult to relax or sleep properly because of it. The building does not seem well insulated from outside noise, which made the stay less enjoyable. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel did not feel very welcoming or relaxing. Some areas felt average in cleanliness and maintenance, but nothing stood out in a positive way. Combined with the service issues and noise, it made the stay disappointing. I left with a negative impression of the Delamont Hotel and would not choose to stay there again. I hope management takes guest feedback seriously and improves both customer service and overall comfort for future visitors.
What a superb hotel with friendly and engaging staff and an attention to detail that can be found throughout the property. The suite I enjoyed was spacious and very relaxing space with nice touches such as a pocket door connecting the bedroom and bathroom and also a gas fireplace. Also, the sauna by the pool is a great amenity - the heater is properly sized and easily maintains temperature!
