LGBT Network, in Bay Shore, works as an advocacy and support group for Long Island and Queens’ LGBTQ+ community.
You won't find a DJ or a cocktail menu here. This is an organization, not a bar, but it’s a good first stop if you want to know what's going on in the area. They're all about getting rid of homophobia and transphobia and pushing for equal rights, so you’ll be walking into a place that actually cares about supporting LGBTQ+ people and their allies.
Think of it as a community center. It's where you can find out about local LGBTQ+ programs, meet people, and plug into support networks. The vibe is serious — focused on activism and care — which is what you want if you’re looking for real connection, not just a night out.
You’ll find them at 34 Park Ave in Bay Shore. Their website has the latest on programs, events, and how to get involved. If you're new to the area or want to contribute to local LGBTQ+ causes, this is a legitimate community hub to know about.
