Harbor House Hotel & Marina at Pier 21

Very nice hotel on the channel. Large, comfortable room. Unique industrial aesthetic-- apparently built on the site of a steamship terminal from the 1800s. The kids loved being able to see the ships and activity going on along the wharf. We stayed in July and the Battleship Texas was prominently visible moored along the channel. Travis got us checked in and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Staff was friendly and professional.

Great hotel to stay pre-cruise — breakfast and views are included

We had a wonderful stay at Harbor House, and I want to give a special shoutout to Dee. She is truly what makes this hotel special. Dee went above and beyond by arranging our ADA shuttle, coordinating our cruise parking, and answering all of our questions with kindness and professionalism. Her vibrant personality and genuine willingness to help made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Harbor House is fortunate to have someone like Dee. She was a ray of sunshine and the highlight of our experience. Thank you, Dee!

Room was musty smelling Bed very uncomfortable Then billed card 3 separate times for triple amount Rate was 250 And the day of charged over 1500 DO NOT STAY HERE

Miss Dee was such a delight to work with. They are so friendly there and so helpful with cruise paperwork and information!

Good hotel, but it's overpriced. Yes it's near the cruise port, but that's it. This hotel isn't any special on the inside. However, the bikes were cool and staff were tuff.

THE hotel if u r boarding a cruise. Next to the cruise port. Restaurants right next door with great food and drinks.

Don't take the bus to the ship,uber.Dont even stay here.

The hotel is modern and maintained a clean atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The only downside was the $20 charge for checking in at 1:00 PM.

This hotel was such a value added piece to our cruise! We stayed so we would have to deal with the 3 hour drive the morning of and we were delighted to find out there was a shuttle going to the terminal and coming back to pick up our vehicle. The location was peaceful and the breakfast was nice! Would recommend!

I couldn’t give a higher rating for harbor house. A little in the expensive side? Maybe, but worth it? 1000%. Anytime we are cruising out of Galveston we stay at harbor house. They offer parking for the cruise and being able to park your car and walk to the terminal? Absolutely amazing. I’m constantly recommending them in cruise groups. The staff is absolutely amazing, the rooms are second to none, however my slight complaint is that I had a HUGE hole in my side of the bed this past weekend. Other than that this place is PERFECT. Waking up and seeing a cruise ship out of the window! Having great restaurants in walking distance is a huge pro. Getting off a cruise and just walking and getting in your car. This place is the perfect spot with all the greatest amenities!
