The Good — the decor is nice (not ultra-luxury, but definitely pleasant). The staff were amazing, the food was good, and the drinks were above average. The open rooftop is a neat feature, but they hadn’t opened the bar up there yet, and it closes after 10 p.m. — so if you’re a night owl hoping for a romantic midnight rooftop stroll, you’re out of luck. The location, while lacking off-street parking, is close to everything downtown, and you can easily walk to local bars, restaurants, and shopping. Truly, the best thing this hotel has going for it is the spa. The spa… the enormous heated pool and beautiful sauna were a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! Easily the highlight of the entire stay. The Bad — the rooms are tiny, tiny, tiny. Literally nowhere to set anything. The bathroom is also very small, and forget about any toilet-time privacy. The toilet is maybe seven feet from the bed, and the “door” is a sliding panel, so the whole experience feels less “luxury hotel” and more “upscale public restroom with mood lighting.” Oh, I should mention though the beds were extremely comfortable...so we did sleep well. Also, be prepared to pay for street parking because there is no parking facility, and you’re completely on your own when it comes to unloading. You’ll need to unload your car at the curb and then go hunt for paid street parking. The Ugly — the bar was by far the least favorable part of the experience. Ironically, the food and drinks were actually decent… but the acoustics of the entire space are atrocious. If there’s a band playing, prepare for a full-scale acoustic assault on your eardrums — and forget about having any casual conversation without practically yelling across the table. I honestly don’t understand how no effort was put into the acoustics of this space. While it’s a little overpriced for the room size, the overall experience was pleasant, and I would absolutely consider staying there again just for the spa and rooftop access.

Hotel is beautiful. Had a great massage and took full advantage of the soak and sauna for guests. Location is great you can walk everywhere! Beautiful views. Had drinks in the bar night one…Grace and Jose were amazing.

Traveler Beware. We weren't expecting NYC closet sized rooms traveling by car through Oregon. Street parking only, tiny room, no fridge, no coffee pot, no space to place your luggage. A modern renovation that focused on maximum revenue at the expense of traveler comfort. Adequate bar, but luckily close to downtotyfor great coffe shops. I would avoid.

My partner and I had a really lovely stay here altogether. Jose at the bar was hilarious, accommodating, and gave us some great recommendations for our trip while we enjoyed our expertly made cocktails. We’ll definitely have to come back here next time we’re out this way.
