We were visiting Huntsville and exhausted from our drive, so when we came into The Nook and it smelled good plus we received a friendly welcome it was such a relief! Our server was fantastic and kind, knowledgeable about the beers and food and happy to answer questions. We enjoyed the good and atmosphere so much that I am sure we will be back next time we are in town! Thank you so much!

Found this place just exploring around. Had Matt as our waiter, gave us a rundown of the menu, talked about the local attractions and a few jokes. Will stop by in again for sure.

We had a mixed experience. Good beer, weird service, cool place - but empty. A group of us 10 arrived around 10pm and walked into a nearly empty bar. After looking for a bartender for 5 or so minutes, we were handed menus and looked through their vast list of beers. I said service was weird - our bartender took 15 minutes to get everything and mumbled so bad, no one understood him. Like, no joke, we understood maybe 10% of what he said. After we got our beers. We sat outside and had a great time. But when we checked out, our tabs included an auto tip of 20% like we were at a restaurant and being a burden. We were the only people there after 10:30 and didn’t feel like we given a great experience by the staff. We shrugged the auto tip, brought our glasses to the bar, and walked out of an empty, lifeless bar. Maybe it was an off night.

Dropping one star for lack of cocktails. They have an abundance of beers and a room full of whiskey, but very limited mixers. If you're a whiskey on the rocks or beer drinker, this is a great place. Food menu is short, but our lunch was delicious.
