Diane made us feel right at home. She is so friendly, really enjoyed learning the history of the home. Breakfast was great.
The rooms are gorgeously decorated, with antiques, pillows, and quilts. Diane is a gracious and attentive host. Breakfast was delicious. It's reasonably priced, especially considering the value for the money. My wife and I highly recommend this place.
My wife and I canceled our hotel room when a room became available here, and we are so glad that we did! The proprietor, Diane, is very attentive and takes great care of her guests. Off-street parking and a great breakfast! Also, we were able to walk to a festival from here.
All was clean and our room (the French Room) was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was ample, healthy, and tasty. Diane was friendly, helpful and interesting. We could not have asked for a better experience.
My son and I stayed here for attending a convention at the Lansing Center, and it was better than I could have hoped for. The home was decorated like a cozy museum with delightful displays that were hard to walk past without studying them. Our beds were very comfortable and we had a nice big bathroom to ourselves. She cooked a wonderful breakfast and made sure it fit our food requirements (vegetarian and keto - not easy to do). The Lansing Center was within walking distance so we didn't have to pay parking fees either. And Diane and her adorable dog (Teddy Bear) were so warm and welcoming. I just loved staying here and plan to come back with my husband for a date night. The picture is of the table set for breakfast.
One of the best, most authentic bed and breakfast stays you’ll find anywhere. Diane is a wonderful host and a community gem in Lansing. Very fair prices, delicious breakfast; an oasis in the city. A 15 minute walk downtown or to Olde Town, in a very cute, walkable neighborhood surrounded by lovely old homes. A little quirky, but charming, and the cutest schnauzer ever, Teddy!
