Wild Goose Inn
Visitors frequently praise the Wild Goose Inn for its good food, especially the bar steaks and affordable specials like the all-you-can-eat tacos, and some highlight the friendly and attentive service. However, one reviewer describes the place as dark and dreary with bad food and rowdy patrons, contradicting other positive experiences.

Great get-away and experience right in the heart of East Lansing. Definitely recommend.
Wild Goose Inn is a beautiful home, the room I stayed in was quiet, clean, and so very comfortable. The hosts Allen and Tasha(?) were so gracious and friendly. Always there to answer questions, and offer suggestions. The home cooked breakfasts were absolustely delicious, and so generous I couldn't eat all of it. I absolutely loved my experience at this place, and for sure will return.
Best spot in East Lansing for staying the night or weekend. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
It was a beautiful place to stay. Me and my wife stayed in the Summer safari room and the decor was beautiful. The fireplace was extremely cozy, the hot tub was perfect. First time at a B&B, great experience.
Had a great stay at the Wild Goose Inn! The innkeeper Al and pup Yogi were awesome and everything was spotless. The grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. Plus, the location is perfect being centrally located to all the popular spots around Michigan State University. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting MSU!
We had such an amazing stay at the Wild Goose Inn—it was truly a hidden gem. The location was perfect, the rooms were beautiful, and having a hot tub made it feel extra special. Everything was spotless, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It was honestly the perfect romantic getaway. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious, and I can genuinely say it was the best omelette I’ve ever had. And to top it off, their adorable dog Yogi came to greet us—which I absolutely loved. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!
What an amazing little bed and breakfast tucked away in the heart of Lansing. I found Wild Goose through a quick Google search while planning a short trip and I was not disappointed! They have various rooms of different theme and decor that are clean, cozy, just spacious enough and-- for those interested-- the perfect spot for a special/romantic getaway. They have an unbelievable complementary breakfast. The food was fresh and so good! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and ever accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend the same to anyone I know. If you go, say hi to Yogi for me!
