The Graduate is the only hotel I’ll stay in anymore when I return to East Lansing, where I grew up. The level of service is outstanding, and they are always so excited to see my chihuahua walk through the lobby. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak periods when the valets get busy, but I’ve found that they are more than happy to give you your keys and point you to your car down the block if the wait is too long. The rooms are simply gorgeous, with so many little details like the local zip codes on the bureau. It really feels like someone who knows East Lansing carefully curated each piece for the rooms. There is a great restaurant and coffee shop on site and literally everything you could want within a short walk in downtown EL, including a Biggby Coffee next door. The overall value is extraordinary - for comparison, pricing is comparable or less than the Hampton Inn five minutes away but a FAR more stylish and upscale experience.

Isaac, Hailey, and Jordan from the dining staff provided outstanding service and took exceptional care of me during my stay. Thank you!

This was my first time staying at a Graduate, which is the Hilton vertical for college towns. I usually like Hilton for business travel because they're extremely consistent, and this was no exception: the room had basically everything I expect. I also liked the decor, which is sort of home-y with lots of hunter green and patterned wallpaper. There's also a great rooftop bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Price was also fair: much better than the competing chain.

From start to finish, everything about the Graduate in East Lansing was AMAZING! Front desk staff was very welcoming, acknowledged me as a diamond member, and had one of our two rooms available early. They even called me when our second room was available - which was still before the designated check in time. The Valet was very friendly, and took the time to explain how they operated, and that I could pay through their system or through my room charge. My nephew and I were give rooms over looking campus! The rooms are good size, very clean, well decorated. The Housekeeping staff said hello to us every time they saw us in the hallway. The small food area in the lobby was outstanding, and the two staff worked together very well to handle a high volume of business each morning. Check out and retrieval of my car was quick and easy, which allowed us to get on the road back to the airport. More hotels should take lessons from The Graduate in East Lansing on how to run a hotel, and provide outstanding guest services! Oh, the roof top bar is very cool, with excellent views of Michigan State campus. Service was quick and professional. Our server checked on us frequently for additional drinks and food. This is not my one and only place to stay during my frequent visits to MSU.

Valets were friendly and fun. Lobby staff welcoming us with popcorn and lemonade was a fun surprise.
