DoubleTree by Hilton Lansing

We have just checked in. Our room was supposed to be available at 4:00, but we were told we had to wait an hour. So, we took a queen room. We wanted the king size bed but we didn't want to wait an hour. In addition, we were told to park on the street, but there was no parking available. It was all two and four hour parking. We were told it was free for the weekend, but it should say that on the signs then. We did not want to take a chance of getting our vehicle towed. So, we had to park in City parking, which no review on here is mentioned that I saw. But we're in $30 a day. Just for parking. If you stay here, you need to account for at least $30 a day. For an overnight stay they start the clock again so it's going to be an additional fee. It doesn't mention that anywhere on the website either that I was able to find. The rooms are expensive enough, we didn't need to have parking on top of it.

Great location in Lansing near the Capital

Very clean. Comfortable beds. No microwave in rooms, but there is one on each floor for general use.

Front desk was great when we checked in. For a 150.00 a night i was expecting a little bit nicer rooms. The a c did not work.It was so hot and stuffy in my room. The bed had a giant hole on one side.The mattress you sat on it and it just sank to the floor. I feel at 5 a m there should be at least hot water. And the bathroom floor was dirty, because after I got out of the shower walked across the floor my feet stuck to it.I stepped back into the shower to wash the bottom of my feet off, and i left brown footprint in the tub. And then the charge me $50 extra For insurance, in case I break something. The patchwork on the ceiling in the bathroom, real shitty, looking. My recommendations motel six or super eights from now on

They sure have improved the idea of business overnight hotel!

Couldn't have picked a better hotel for Beerfest in the Ballpark. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The rooms were plain, but very clean and updated. Great value for the quality!

A+++ customer service. Sam went above and beyond for me and is extremely kindhearted and hard-working. I can’t thank her enough for how kind she was to me after a long day of traveling. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
