Great location in downtown. Lots of shopping and restaurants around the area as well. Check in was fast and efficient. Great customer service from the Valet to front desk, and beyond. Well maintained and clean casino and hallways. Rooms were a good size, comfortable bed and pillows.

If your from Hawaii then you already know. If not you may not like this place as it is far away from the glitz and glam and a little more on the seedy side of town. We love it.

Location is good since you don’t get the Fremont street noise, you do however get some train noise. Rooms are typical Boyd (3.5*, very comfortable and above avg), however the service is definitely not up to Boyd (Fremont and Delta Downs) standards. My check in experience was good but I was put on hold for extended periods (20+ minutes, 3x) and when I tried to complain they told me they would call security and have me thrown out. I’d stay again, but if you have a complaint, they really don’t care. Better service at Fremont Hotel, they are way more attentive. Avoid Boyd if you are looking for a regular place to play. Not a good spot

Less busy casino, value for money and very close to the Fremont street walking experience. Nice stay. Pros: Good value if booked somewhat in advance Not too much of a busy casino Walkable to the Fremont street walking experience Ample parking space in the garage Stable wifi (even for the free package) Multiple paid dining options Cons: No microwave (common in casino hotels) and even coffee machine in most rooms Kind of small rooms & bathroom No complimentary breakfast
