We stayed there this last Memorial Weekend. The room and Casino were great. Our biggest complaint is that only one of the two elevators for the parking garage was working. This caused long lines and waits to get to and from our car. Also when I went to use the stairs instead of the elevator, the door to the floor my car was parked on was locked. You would think a Casino as well known and profitable as the Vegas Golden Nugget would ensure all the elevators were operational for thier parking garage, especially during a busy holiday weekend.

The hotel’s website pictures don’t represent a room in the Carson Tower accurately. Our room furnishings were outdated, such as the bamboo style dresser. The bathtub was scuffed up and the shower handle had to be rigged to turn on the water. The tv remote only worked some of the time. We could hear lots of noise, music, etc. throughout the night. The pool was open but the aquarium and slide were closed and apparently will be all swim season. This happened after we booked our room so we didn’t find out until we checked in but still had to pay the full resort fees. The ac worked great! The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
