Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas

It's worth a visit and definitely worth seeing.

Location is far from the strip but close to Aria and Cosmopolitan. The cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t the best but the bell men outside and Julian at the front desk made my stay worthwhile. The fitness center is small not much equipment. I guess I’m an anomaly because I love working out on vacation. Additionally, I called three separate people for coffee pods and they all made excuses. I think most of the service staff will cater to you if you’re giving out tips. Even gave a tip and my coffee pods were not delivered. Ultimately, I moved to the Fontainebleau hotel. The fitness center is world class and they have really great food options. This was first time at a WA as a Diamond member and I don’t plan to visit this location again. I prefer Conrad properties.

We stayed here this week and we had such a great experience. From the minute we walked in Julian took the best care of us. After chatting with him for a few minutes he learned my husband and I were in town for a very special occasion and he went above and beyond to make sure the stay exceeded our expectations. It was going to be a great trip before this, but he made sure it was one we would never forget! Thank you so much Julian! We will be back!

If you want to escape the usual Vegas chaos, the Waldorf Astoria is a solid, chilled-out sanctuary right on the Mid-Strip. It’s got a lot going for it, but don't expect flawless 5-star perfection. Here is the honest breakdown of the highs and lows. The Best Bits * **Peace and quiet:** Set back from the main strip action with no massive, crowded communal lobby. It's unassuming and the perfect contrast to the noisy, themed mega-resorts. * *A brilliant pool:** Quiet, heated, and features an adults-only area that is actually well-policed. The low-volume music makes it a genuinely peaceful escape. * *Great rooms:** Spacious rooms that thankfully keep the classic Mandarin Oriental design. The beds are super comfy, amenities are plentiful, and the Strip views are decent (if not quite iconic). * *Solid service:** The staff are attentive, helpful, and eager to please. The Not-So-Great Bits * *Sloppy housekeeping:** Basic things were missed constantly. Notes were ignored, cups vanished (then bizarrely tripled), and getting bottled water or ice was a daily guessing game. Some parts of the room were just filthy. * *Odd layouts:** Zen restaurant is wedged right between the main and guest lifts. In the mornings, you have to awkwardly squeeze through breakfast queues just to get to your room. * *Room quirks:** Expect a lack of decent soundproofing against neighbouring rooms. Plus, a weird morning smell of cooking exhaust and showers that take an age to heat up. * *Elite perks:** Getting a late check-out extension of only one hour feels a bit stingy for loyal members. **The Verdict:** It's a lovely, relaxing place to stay, but the minor annoyances mean it doesn't quite hit that true 5-star luxury standard.

I am a diamond member and I booked a future stay at this hotel for next year 2027 they charge my credit card without any of my knowledge today may 2026 I don’t even step in this hotel and already charge my card . There’s is not appropriate appreciation for team members at all it doesn’t matter where you travel some hotel high quality they don’t appreciate us working for Hilton it’s DISCRIMINATION.

This was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed during hundreds of business and family trips. Everything was well designed and worked, from the layered automatic window shades to the large bathroom. Despite being downtown, my room was quiet. I was in Vegas for a funeral rather than entertainment, so I particularly appreciated the extra courtesies extended to me (e.g. to rest in the 23rd floor lounge without pressure to order anything).

Absolutely love staying here. I'm in Vegas for work constantly and this is my go to hotel. Close to everything! Clean, quite, great service with amazing rooms.
