About this place Dreams Come True on Maui Bed and Breakfast

Dreams Come True on Maui is a small bed and breakfast at 3259 Akala Drive in Kihei, on Maui's sunny south shore. It is a gay-friendly, mainstream guesthouse rather than a gay venue. The rooms are colourfully decorated suites, breakfast is included, and a central deck has ocean views. With only 16 Google reviews it is a small operation, but they average 4.9. Kihei's beaches and restaurants are a short drive away, and a car is close to essential on Maui. Book directly through the B&B's website and confirm minimum-stay rules, which small Hawaii properties often set.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was quiet, relaxing, and beautifully maintained with lush tropical landscaping all around. The location near Wailea made it easy to explore beaches, restaurants, and different parts of South Maui while still feeling peaceful at night. Tom and Denise were wonderful hosts and gave us several local recommendations that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the trip. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and about Maui itself.

Susan is the perfect host. She made us feel right at home and has a lovely B&B. Muffins are delicious and the fresh bananas were a great treat. Definitely recommend!

We stayed in the cottage for seven nights. It was perfect in every way. It was affordable, especially compared to the cost to stay in a beach resort. It was wonderfully appointed and the owners thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay on Maui. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there is a view of both the mountains and the ocean. We enjoyed watching the lizards and geckos who live around the porch. The cottage is centrally located to everything and is close to grocery stores, restaurants and bars,, beaches, and shops. The owners are kind and helpful. If we are ever fortunate enough to return, we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui.
