I had a great experience here! Communication with management was easy and helpful. My issues with the TV were resolved quickly. I loved that it wasn't densely populated or overrun with tourists. Haiku is 3 minutes away; it's a cute town with everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. I was in unit 1 on the second floor. The bedroom was a little squishy for 2 people, but it worked fine. I figured the one little wall mounted AC unit wouldn't be sufficient to keep the apartment cool, but it did a good job, in conjunction with the fans and opening the bedroom window at night. I loved that it had a kitchen, and fully stocked with all the equipment you need to make meals. My only complaint would be that they didn't keep seasonings/condiments on hand. I understand this was for health reasons, but it made cooking cost prohibitive. Oh, and there is a knife block in the kitchen, but the "sharp" knives absolutely were not. These are tiny nitpicks from a guy who likes to cook. All in all, I'd stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here and felt completely at home. The apartment is charmingly furnished, clean, and equipped with a useful kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, and we lacked nothing else.

I wish this place had more reviews here on google maps as it does on Expedia, where my friend booked the stay for us. The rooms were very decently clean and had the basics one might need during the stay including xtra set of towels. I actually saw the lady cleaning the other room as the door was open and that was somewhat very close to deep cleaning which we did appreciate a lot. The check in after dark might be a little challenging, but doable. The location is very quiet and fitted our needs by all means (if using google maps take the next turn right of the one it is showing). Definitely exceeded our expectations. If you are sensitive to humidity and odors, I do recommend to buy some cheap pillows on the way here (you'll need a car anyway). The bed sheets were clean and smelled like detergent. Me myself I slept on the couch which wasn't ideal, but I would do it again for the price, which was one of the lowest on the island for the marathon weekend :) The other units (most likely for an xtra $) even had hot tubs. There was one in the common area, but we didn't have time to try it. The grill didn't look desirable to use, but there is a good stove top in the room. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this staycation did not meet expectations. We stayed in Unit 7 of Building 66, and upon arrival there was a noticeable mildew smell throughout the unit, which made the space feel unclean and uncomfortable. The rooms appeared quite old, with dated and worn furniture. The bed was uncomfortable, and the sofa bed was especially disappointing—it was dirty and clearly not well maintained. The bathroom also raised safety concerns due to its structural design, which felt hazardous and not guest-friendly. Overall, the lack of upkeep, cleanliness issues, and uncomfortable sleeping arrangements made this stay unpleasant. The only positive aspect of this rental was its location, as it is conveniently situated along the Road to Hana route, making it easy to access that drive. However, the location alone does not make up for the condition of the unit.
