Memphis Pride is run by Mid-South Pride, and the 2026 edition was billed as the 51st. It takes place in a state that has passed a string of anti-LGBTQ laws in recent years, which gives the day more edge than a typical sponsor-heavy pride.
The core is a Saturday in early June downtown: a morning parade followed by Memphis Pride Fest at Robert Church Park, roughly 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an after-party in the evening. Mid-South Pride adds a kickoff on Thursday and events on Friday.
Early June in Memphis is hot and storm-prone, and that is not a footnote: in 2025 Mid-South Pride cancelled the festival and postponed the parade to 2026 on the day, citing severe-weather risk along the route.
The 2026 weekend ran June 4 to 6, with the parade and festival on Saturday, June 6. WMC Action News 5 reported an expected 35,000 to 45,000 people downtown; that is a pre-event estimate, not a count. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
