The service from the staff at Memphis Riverline Hotel was exceptional. I had an issue with a booking that I made through a third-party provider, that they were able to resolve. Special thanks to Lasonya for her customer service, as she went above and beyond to sort this for me. The rooms were clean, and our stay was more than welcoming. Thanks again.

The parking was TERRIBLE! The hotel parking lot could not accommodate our F-250 truck, so they made us park across the street in public/pay parking (where the homeless people live/hangout). The room was dated, but nice and clean. The receptionist told us they offered free Continental breakfast, which they did not.

The best thing this hotel has going forward is its friendly staff. Rooms are nice, valet parking is expensive, the small restaurant and tavern has poor service and astronomical prices. Location is great but you give up a lot.

This place is not great... Avoid it if you can. The location is bad. They force you to pay for parking and it's like $30 a day. The people who work there are not friendly. It's definitely not somewhere I'd stay again.

Very disappointing experience overall, especially regarding billing transparency and customer service. We stayed here during Memphis in May while participating in a barbecue competition. After checkout, the hotel attempted to apply a smoking-related fee despite the fact that no smoking occurred inside the room. Our clothing had been exposed to outdoor barbecue smoke from the event, which is completely different from smoking inside a hotel room. Even more concerning, the final folio itself shows that the smoking fee was internally adjusted/reversed, yet inconsistent charges still appeared on our American Express account. The billing process was extremely confusing: * unexplained “eChannel Retail” charges, * inconsistent nightly room rates, * and totals that did not clearly match the Expedia reservation confirmation. Beyond the billing issues, the overall hotel service was poor. Staff responsiveness and guest support were below expectations, and the internal restaurant closing at 9 PM was extremely inconvenient for a hotel receiving travelers and event attendees returning late in the evening. Food and service options were very limited for guests after that hour. We are now forced to dispute the charges through both American Express and Expedia due to the lack of transparency and proper resolution from the hotel. The location may be convenient, but guests should carefully review all charges and monitor their credit card statements closely after checkout.
