I say for 18 days and was disappointed for the few days house keeping didn't do a good job the bed sheets was not clean and candy all over the floor it's disgusting

My husband made us reservations at this nice hotel for a sweet Valentine's getaway. We loved our room it was quiet and our bed was very comfortable! We loved the view of the Mississippi River from our room! We will come back again!

I stayed at River Inn 12/31. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE. I was charged 378.00 for a room that was being advertised for 199.00. When I inquired I was just redirected and asked did I want wine. The room was not the one I reserved with the canopy bed. The ice machine was unplugged. We had no way to drink cold beverages. NO TURN DOWN service like advertised. The staff told us they “ran out” of Champagne at check in. I would give it 0 stars. I would never EVER go back. I will always chose Peabody from now on. No river view. Just a view of cars after the receptionist told me I had a Riverview. Room 222 SUCKED!

Had cocktails and appetizers in the lobby. Great!

It’s worth noting that the hotel maintains a quiet ambiance, with facilities closing by 9:00 PM. While this contributes to its peaceful charm, it may not suit those looking for a lively nightlife scene within the hotel itself. Overall, The River Inn is perfect for travelers seeking comfort, quality, and a touch of Southern elegance in a quiet setting. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or anyone looking to escape the noise without sacrificing luxury.

Should be a 5 star as the location is superb with views of sunset over the Mississipi and our room was well-equipped. Let down by poor housekeeping throughout our stay and admin issues. Our thanks to Jack on reception for sorting many things out on day one. We also had a plumbing issue. Terrace bar lovely with great staff. Young lady in Tugs for days 2 & 3 a delight. But, if you order fruit then eggs they all come at once rather than in order. Overall, in need of a thorough review and better management to reach the standard it should achieve.

Incredible hotel in every way. The restaurants are amazing, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and extremely clean, and the service is excellent. Can’t recommend enough!

Great location! Wish the bar stayed open later. Breakfast was a joke ended up going somewhere else. Room was great only issue was the shower did not drain but we still loved this hotel. Was beautiful.
