About this place Harbor Room

Harbor Room is Milwaukee's Levi and leather cruise bar, tucked at the edge of Walker's Point on East Greenfield Avenue. Opened in 2000 and refreshed under new ownership in 2021, it marked its 25th anniversary in 2025. The vibe is unpretentious and men-leaning: a dimly lit neighborhood bar built for regulars, with a pool table, stiff pours, and a dress-code-friendly, cruisy atmosphere on busier nights. It's a short walk from the South 2nd Street strip, making it an easy stop on a Walker's Point bar crawl for anyone after a rougher-edged, community-rooted alternative to the dance clubs.

It's gone down hill. Went on a sat. It took for ever to get a drink. I asked how much is a pizza. He replied it takes awhile. He acted like he didn't want to make one. So I one drink and left. Update. I asked for a pizza. He told me he had to take care of others. I'm a very happy, friendly person visiting. Pizza is not a priority around here. Avoid this place, if you're a visitor, you won't be treated right.

I went here recently and I was completely treated like garbage by Glenn. Clearly has a drinking problem while on the job and deeply needs therapy. I was told the whole time about how he shouldn’t have to serve women and how he really didn’t want me there. Seems like he has issues with his ex wife that he takes out on women who come to this bar. The other bartender was amazing but GLENN NEEDS TO GO.
