This B&B deserves all of the praise! Ricardo did an incredible job welcoming us as soon as we walked in the door and making us feel at home. He cooked an amazing homemade breakfast and provided excellent hospitality! Very clean and charming. The house is a short walk to all of the attractions in new hope and the bridge to Lambertville.
We had such a great time at Aaron Burr House. Ricardo is honestly one of the kindest, most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had — he really made us feel at home the whole time we were there. And the breakfast!! He cooks every morning and apparently his breakfast is kind of a big deal in town. A local merchant asked us about it when they found out where we were staying! Totally lived up to the hype. Can’t recommend this place enough.
"Pardon me are you Aaron burr ... sir?"
Everything about staying here was incredible. Ricardo the host was lovely, attentive, and cooked some delicious breakfast. The room, kitchen and common areas were also delightful. And not to mention great parking situation, and perfect location to walk through town.
Cool place with a really friendly person running it, we had a great stay!!!
My boyfriend & I attended a wedding in the area & this was the perfect stay for us! We got there a few hours before check in & our host Ricardo was very accommodating on early parking, showing us around the home & where our room was. We stayed in room two (the orange room if you see any pictures) which was a bit small but was still a great size for just my partner & I. If we have the chance to stay here again, we’d love to have one of the larger rooms just to have more space but that’s just a personal preference! Ricardo makes a delicious breakfast every morning, I sadly missed the first day BUT he was kind enough to save me some which were these breakfast tacos? A tortilla shell with refried beans, an egg with salsa on top and they were SO good, I ate two of them. He has a wonderful breakfast set up where you sit with other families staying in the home (really not my boyfriends style) but I enjoyed hearing everyone’s stories of why their in town or what they have going on in their lives. This house is just a short walk from town and a short walk from the bridge crossing the river. I enjoyed walking everywhere we went even though it rained during our stay (which thankfully, Ricardo had a few umbrellas) Obviously, this is an older home which comes with its little quirks: if you are a light sleeper you will definitely hear people coming and going, a bathroom door may be a little difficult to open but truly everyone should stay here at least once if they can. The whole home is decorated beautifully, the home is well taken care of and so are all of the guests! Thank you Ricardo for being a great host and tying my boyfriend’s tie before the wedding (and saving me breakfast!!)
Lin Manuel Miranda screamed at me, saying ''when are these colonies gonna rise up?'' then I was immediately haunted by the ghost of Hamilton
