Health hazard !!! This place is a health hazard !!! Not sure how they have managed to have a 4 star rating . The place has an extremely strong smell of mold and is absolutely filthy! Our room was complete with spider webs, dead bugs, live beetles and stink bugs ! Every surface was dingy and dirty! The shower head was frightening and we thought it best to wait until arriving at our next B&B ( which was immaculate thankfully) to take a shower. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
Stayed here in October of last year and I am still thinking about it! Such an amazing experience with wonderful hosts and a comforting atmosphere. If I ever return to New Hope this is where I will be staying. I definitely recommend!
The Inn has character and charm. We loved the fire burning in the living room. Our room was not very clean and had several areas of disrepair. Our biggest concern was how cold our room was making sleep almost impossible. We slept in our clothes and a shower in the morning was out of the question. The bathroom floor felt like ice. Other guests also commented on how chilly their rooms were as well. Overall, disappointed with our stay.
My boyfriend and I stayed here last Friday night and the owners Michael and Scott were so kind and friendly. It was such a quaint ,unique house and so interesting to explore. I felt very comfortable here. The house has a nice energy to it. Thank you kindly to them both for having us. :)
Idyll.
Loved staying here for a night to get out of NYC. Michael and Scott are wonderful - set us up, gave us great recs for food in New Hope (which is a beautiful stroll away along a creek), and served up delicious breakfast in the morning. So much heart and warmth in this place. Highly recommend!
