Server was good, His name was Damien. The absolute problem was I ordered some oysters and it took over an hour to even tell me that they were not coming. I even waited two hours to get even two beers. The food was mediocre and overpriced. I drove over four hours to come here to New Orleans from Southeast Texas, where our food is much better and cheaper. I will not be back to this location ever again. The restaurant is far from What they portray. The management will sink this place.

Perfect place when staying at the Crown Plaza. Live music .. great menu and nice atmosphere. Now we tried chargrilled oysters in the area. Acmes and Felix's. We decided Blue Bayou was the best of the three. Flavor and quality of the oysters. Tasha our waitress was excellent and made us feel welcome and appreciated from start to finish.

Walked in and sat for 20 minutes with no greeting, water, etc. Walked right around the corner to Mambos and received the service we deserved. Don’t dine in anywhere you are not welcomed. Huge disappointment as we were excited to try this spot.
