Waste of money!! This place charges outrageous rates for mediocre value. The blackout curtains in my room didn't close properly and light from passing traffic made sleep difficult. Also, there was a fire alarm going off all through the night by the bank of elevators by my room. After two calls, someone finally came up to try to shut the alarm off. He walked away without fixing the problem. (Really poor service if you are paying $500 a night for a room). Finally, after a THIRD call to the front desk, someone that actually knew what they were doing came over and shut off the alarm. I was exhausted and overslept my alarm. I got a call from the front desk telling me that they were going to charge me extra for not checking out on time. When I asked them to waive that fee because of the alarm etc, the reply was "NO". This place is a rip-off. They sell a nostalgic experience but fall short on giving any value for the OVERPRICED rates you pay for their rooms. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Be aware management is playing dirty tricks. Despite having a reservation they refused to provide rooms to multiple travelers after first telling us to wait for 30min. Do not book last minute rooms here.
A great play to stay if you need to be directly in the terminal area. Bonus that it's a fun time capsule with so much to explore!
