About this place Queer Memoir

Queer Memoir hosts storytelling events around New York, creating spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals to share their lives. This isn't a bar. It's a community organization, built on the idea that queer histories and experiences are worth hearing. And preserving. You'll find intimate gatherings focused on personal narratives, where people really connect. It’s a chance to listen to other queer New Yorkers, or tell your own story, in a way you won't get at the usual nightlife spots. If you're traveling and want to see how local queer culture actually lives, this is it. The mood is welcoming, reflective, and celebratory. Visibility and representation are the whole point. Check their website for where they're happening next; events move around the city.

This book store already has limited hours, 6 hours 5 days a week. I went on Sunday when it should have been open. The receptionist at the ground floor said it was closed for today. If they have enough staff to tell customers that the store is closed, they should update it on Google maps too.
