Qué Rico Nightclub

Lately… what happened? The last 3-4 times I've gone (and talking to other friends who also go to the club), the tacos are awful—overly shiny, and when you bite into them, oil drips down your hand instead of the meat juices. The tortillas also absorb all that and get kind of rubbery. What hurts the most is that it wasn't like this before. The food used to be balanced: intense flavor, but light, without that greasy feeling that leaves you with heartburn all night. The staff is still friendly and fast, but the quality of the food has clearly gone down. Maybe they changed the cook, or the meat supplier, or maybe they just went overboard with the oil to prevent sticking.

It's a good club scene, everyone dancing and getting along by respecting one another and just hanging out. Good place to have fun and listen to a live DJ. THEY DONT SERVE FOOD, BUT THEY SERVE VARIOUS TYPES OF DRINKS OF ALCOHOL AND NONALCOHOL. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO OTHERS WITH OUT DOUBT.

When you make it just after opening, 9:15, $15 entrances, $15 cocktail. Normally entrance is $20, I’ve had the same cocktail for $8. Confused lol

Expensive cover on a very dead night 👎🏾

Excessively expensive $25 cover, beer $11, bad food, “hot sauce” is water 💦, bad sound quality 🔊, although the DJ saves the place.

Taco Tuesday at Qué Rico is an absolute steal! They serve $2 tacos that are honestly ridiculously good—super flavorful, fresh, and way better than you’d expect for the price. I had three and immediately wished I’d ordered five (pro tip: go big). They’re small, so you’ll want a few if you’re making it a meal. Out of appreciation (and a little guilt, because there’s no way this isn’t a labor of love), I grabbed a drink to support the bar—and I’m glad I did! More than just the food, Qué Rico has such a safe, welcoming vibe. As a cisgender woman, I really appreciate being able to grab a solo meal in the evening and feel totally at ease. Everyone is so kind, and the atmosphere is vibrant without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that reminds you how good an inclusive community can truly feel.
