During an 8-day trip through Florida, I stayed at three different hotels. Not every experience was the same, which is why I believe it is important to recognize the places that deliver a positive guest experience. Rosen Inn Closest to Universal was one of the good experiences during this trip, and I would like to recognize the team for their hospitality and service. A special thank you to Shanti, Gina, Michael, and the staff members who consistently greeted guests with a smile and genuine kindness. Their welcoming attitude created a positive atmosphere from the moment guests entered the property. As a Customer Experience professional, I often say that people remember how you make them feel. Small moments of connection, empathy, and communication can make a significant difference in a guest's stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, the buffet offered a good variety of options, and the overall environment was comfortable and family-friendly. One recommendation I would offer is to consider providing softer pillows or feather pillow options for guests seeking additional comfort during their stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and appreciate the effort the team puts into serving its guests every day. Thank you for your hospitality and for making my stay enjoyable. — Dr. Yazmin Michelle Customer Experience Professional Author of "Customer Experience Management and Its Impact on Loyalty in Automotive Dealerships in Puerto Rico"
Check-in was frustrating from the start. The receptionist mentioned needing some kind of password to check in, which was confusing and not explained clearly. A password? Like a secret speakeasy or something? It didn't make for a very welcoming first impression. Another odd detail was that all of the snacks in the lobby were locked up behind barriers, which gave the hotel an uninviting atmosphere and made guests feel more like an inconvenience than valued customers. Also, the $10 per night parking fee and $50 incidental fee was not mentioned in the booking. Very disappointing! You can do better! Overall, this property doesn't seem very focused on creating a positive guest experience. There are plenty of hotels in the area that do a much better job making visitors feel welcome. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else.
Things have been great so far. Clean room, gated security our front. The manager Shanti helped check us in and has been most helpful. We are close to all the restaurants and volcano bay (which is why we came). Affordable pricing on rooms. Would use again.
I had to edit my review I realized that the mistake was on me... So overall other than the parking fee no complaints!! Thank you for your service !
Very good
