Be nice to just be able to book a room online and not have to call to find out all the information
I have never actually stayed at this bed and breakfast. However, I do have something to say about it. A while back, my husband and I heard they have a beautiful pool area. A friend of mine recommended it. However, when I called to find out more about pool amenities, entry fee etc the person on the phone acted like I had to know someone or have a secret code word to have access to the pool. It’s either public or it’s not. It’s called discrimination when you let some folks in and not others. I don’t care whether you’re LGBT, white, black or purple. Discrimination is discrimination. We ended up going to the Battle House that day. I will NEVER set foot in that bed and breakfast or recommend it to anyone.
Fiance and I were passing through town and got a last minute room in this lovely Victorian bed & breakfast. The manager was kind enough to accommodate a later check in and had all the historic tips and local food/bar joints on his radar. It's located within walking distance to downtown for those who don't mind a good healthy walk, also an easy city to find parking in at night. Thanks Steven!
