From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with its beautiful design, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable location in the heart of the city. Whether you're visiting for a getaway, sightseeing, or just a fun weekend in Philadelphia, this hotel puts you right in the middle of it all. What truly made our stay memorable, though, was the incredible hospitality. A special shout-out to Roshid, who was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. The entire staff was warm and accommodating, and the overall vibe of the hotel was both stylish and inviting. We left already talking about coming back. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Philadelphia. Thank you to the Kimpton Hotel Monaco team—and especially Roshid—for making our trip so enjoyable!

Spent a celebratory weekend here a few months ago and the staff, specifically Roshid Milledge, was thoughtful, proactive, and accommodating and contributed to a special experience and far surpassed expectations.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough! My girlfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary, and we had the absolute best experience. Roshid and Consuela both went above and beyond. My girlfriend and I got upgraded to a spa corner room when I said it was our anniversary, and after I said my girlfriend doesn’t drink, they had delicious cupcakes, a basket of goodies, and a note for us in our room. The service here was absolutely incredible. Thanks, Roshid and Consuela!!

2026 (Second visit): Wow, a bargain and fabulous! We scouted a few places at the higher end that included a bath, but the ones available were running $2000 a night; this was a fraction of that, around $600 per night. While still a top ten in Philly, this had spacious rooms, high ceilings, huge windows, and a modern soaking tub. Plus, the hotel is placed for easy travel, in a very walkable and green - lots of trees - area. Staff was very accommodating, and there is a daily evening wine serving. Electronic setup was very easy. 2018: Lively and Eclectic - The hotel is situated across from Independence Park, and while not Rittenhouse Square, it was still conveniently located. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were nicely appointed, and the on-site facilities made enjoying ourselves easy. There is a daily free drinks hour, as well as a club on the 10th floor, The Stratus, for relaxing before dining. There were two annoyances. First, a barking dog, for which the staff contacted the patrons and they came back to quiet it, and the second, were drunken patrons roaming the hall Friday night. Our Saturday stay was much quieter, with no issues. The hotel runs events, so there were numerous, diverse-looking, people and groups. A recommendation, if you are planning on having dinner, go to Talula's Garden; it was a wonderful experience.

Couldn’t really tell you about the rooms at the location of this place was prime being surrounded by some of the greatest gardens and the most beautiful things I think I’ve ever seen. I would recommend if you want a cool view out of your front window if you can afford it

Just checked out of the Kimpton Hotel Morocco on Chestnut. Wow!! Amazing location!! Incredible staff! Everyone was amazing! I didn’t want to leave! In fact I had a problem and the Valet Kyle-Lee went far above and beyond. Used his personal cell phone called Uber and stayed on hold and did his job while trying to help me. Thank you! Then Teresa from the front desk tried to find a Spanish speaker to help me resolve the issue with the Uber driver who claimed lack of English skills. It was so amazing! They could have said sorry hope it works out but they went far above my expectations! Thank you everyone! Also the place was so clean!!! I will definitely stay here again!

Clean and well appointed rooms. Be warned that if your room is on the chestnut side you will hear a bell EVERY HOUR. Otherwise very nice rooms. We used the meeting space for a convening. Responsive staff, good service. I would not recommend the Johannesburg rooms because they are a very off shape and make for an awkward set up.
