Went on a Thursday for live music, drinks, and appetizers and was not disappointed. I had low expectations after seeing negative reviews, but the Trap seems to have put in some work to make improvements. The beers on tap were quite good and the wings were pretty great. I'd try this odd little golf shop cafe again for the outdoor seating and the full menu. Also anywhere Johnny Hinchman performs is a good time.

We had to wait almost an hour for two burgers. I felt sorry for the cook and the food server. Within the last few months, the staff is not sufficiently trained or adequately prepared for the crowd. It was once our favorite place. We call to see who is cooking and serving before we go.

The best to place to eat in Port Ludlow hands down

Stopped in with our group after playing golf. Kind of a small place, pretty clean. Staff was friendly enough. Only one person taking orders and doing the cooking. Ordered fish and chips and two of the three orders were average, but one order contained a severely overcooked piece of fish that never should have been served. The fries were great. We will probably look for other food options next time we play this course.

Made reservations for 2 at J.R.'s Sandtrap for 6:30 pm Saturday night Feb 14th. There were a number of people there either eating dinner or waiting to be served when we walked in. There was only one person working there taking orders, cooking food, cleaning tables, and taking payments. After sitting there for 20 minutes without service, we got up and left. I don't know how one employee can run a restaurant that serves dinner every night. The week before that, we went there for dinner at 5:30 pm, and the doors were locked. I know that I won't be going back there again.
