Unmatched customer service! My family stayed the weekend for a wedding; the location was convenient, the surroundings beautiful, and the accommodations were very comfortable. When the weekend was over and we arrived back home, we realized we had misplaced a very special teddy bear of my son's. We reached out to Doug at Port Gamble Guest Houses, and he and his team bent over backwards to find this bear for us... sending an additional person to the house to dismantle the pull-out couch (where we assumed the bear got stuck) after the cleaners didn't find anything. Doug was very kind to keep me posted every step of the way. The happy ending is that the bear was found, and was mailed back at no charge to us (?!?!?). Would highly recommend staying at this peaceful location, and using your hard-earned dollar to support small businesses like this, who care for their customers like family and go the extra mile to create wonderful experiences.
You just need to stay there to enjoy the beauty of the area. The picture that I posted was a view out the window.
For our 34th wedding anniversary my husband and I stayed at Port Gamble Guest Houses (House 1). It was a beachfront home, well equipped and delightfully decorated. We found everything we needed in the house to make us feel welcome. We explored the town of Port Gamble and especially enjoyed the General Store, which was built in 1916. The Hood Canal Bridge is about five minutes from the guest houses and provides access to the Olympic Peninsula where you'll find hiking, fishing, boating, mountain climbing, the Hoh Rain Forest and, ultimately, the Pacific Ocean and the Salish Sea. The Olympic Mountains, strong and bold, can be seen from the bridge, inviting you to explore the area. Our trip refreshed us, filling us with clean air, beautiful pictures, and wonderful memories.
Amazing views are just the start. Immaculately clean and ample room. Walking distance to Butcher and Baker for light meals. 10 minutes to Kingston and 15 to Poulsbo
Great houses to rent in Port Gamble. We rent out both every year for our group. They are very homey and well kept. A home away from home, with an amazing view and water access.
