Horrible service. Outdated.

Great customer service.

I would never stay here again and after two nights could not leave faster. The building is poorly maintained and stinks of mold and mildew. My room had the most horrible stench coming from the bathroom drains and there was water damage throughout. The paint and wallpaper were peeling and the toilet seat was chipped. It was 45 degrees outside but my room wouldn’t get warmer than 62 degrees even with the temp set to 73. The bed was decently comfortable but the linens were scratchy and thin. Staying here was a very unpleasant experience that shocked me due to the expensive nightly rate.

Worst hotel stay I’ve had in years. As a Hilton Diamond member, this experience was shockingly bad from start to finish. The property is in an extremely poor state of condition and clearly has not been properly maintained for years. Paint is peeling and cracking throughout, fixtures are failing, and even basic room functionality was unacceptable — the water in the room wouldn’t properly switch off. Housekeeping was poor and inconsistent, including failure to replenish basic amenities like bottled water. What was even more concerning was hearing multiple staff members openly complain about management, mentioning that since the management takeover in 2019, the property has apparently never been properly renovated and issues have only continued to worsen. That says a lot. Service was equally disappointing. Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. There was no valet service, the bell desk was inconsistently staffed or unavailable, and there was absolutely zero recognition of Hilton Diamond status or any attempt to provide the level of service expected from the brand. I also made attempts to escalate concerns directly to General Manager Cory Kramer, who did not respond to calls or emails at all. From the physical condition of the hotel to the service standards to management accountability, every aspect of this stay was deeply disappointing. This property falls far below what anyone should expect from Hilton, let alone loyal elite members. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Rooms smelled of mildew and the entire ceiling had water damage wrapped around. Pricing is obscene for how poor quality of rooms therly are. You're better staying at a Red Roof Inn because at least they don't have mold and mildew issues

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The only major flaw is the parking and the fact that they have valet, which is insane to me. So just understand you’ll be parking yourself and logging your luggage to and from the hotel. Other than that, they’re great.

The ambiance at the Graduate in Providence is so much fun. The history of the building is honored while at the same time adding all the easter eggs that come with a Graduate property. Half the fun is seeing whose student ID you get as a key card. But what really made this stay special was the front desk staff. I checked in on Saturday for a funeral Monday morning and when I returned to the hotel late Monday evening the staff remembered and offered their condolences and were so kind and genuine in their asking how the day went. Their friendliness and management's accommodating my circumstances went above and beyond but remembering that Monday would be a difficult day was truly impressive. The attached coffee shop is a great place to stop in for cold brew on your way out in the morning and the included $15 vouchers make it an ever more worthwhile stop. I love this place and was sending pictures to friends and family of all the charming touches but the staff is what really makes it shine. Thank you Graduate of Providence for making this such a memorable weekend.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel. If you value yourself, I strongly advise against booking a stay here, particularly for people of color. I had to reserve two nights to take some nice photos for my birthday, which was stated in my initial agreement during the booking process. However, no one mentioned any restrictions until I began taking pictures. Both the managers and the receptionist approached us, insisting that we stop or they would call the police. I was bewildered, questioning whether taking pictures in their premises was prohibited. The receptionist tells me doesn’t matter we should just stop, this was not part of their policy. Ultimately, she demanded an additional $500 to continue our photo session. Feeling I had no choice, I agreed to pay the amount, which surprised her. She then altered her stance again, stating that if I paid the $500 i would only be permitted to take pictures for 45 minutes. At that moment, I realized her actions were rooted in racism against people of color. I had to cease all photography and managed to take a few in my room, I cried throughout the day. The most distressing part of this ordeal was when I attempted to check out; they refused to refund the extra $100 they had held on my account. When I inquired about this, she explained it was because I had taken pictures on their premises. I have traveled all over I never experienced this kind of embarrassment in my whole life.
