Spooky Bear Provincetown
About This Event
Spooky Bear, Provincetown's Halloween weekend for bears, is a production of the Northeast Ursamen, a nonprofit bear social club. It's held at the Boatslip and the Crown & Anchor, running from Thursday to Sunday around Halloween.
The 2024 edition, themed "Nightmares", took place from 31 October to 3 November. Tea dances were held at the Boatslip, and a meet-and-greet and vendor market also took place. A bingo night raised funds for the Provincetown Food Pantry. The Crown & Anchor hosted a costume ball with a contest, and the weekend wrapped up with a Sunday drag brunch. Tickets are required for the main parties.
For 2026, the Ursamen have posted a save-the-date, but as of now, the schedule and ticket links on ursamen.org are still pending. Third-party listings suggest it'll take place on Halloween weekend 2026. Before booking, it's best to confirm with the organisers.
