Roni is absolutely amazing!!

I stayed here over the weekend while I visited Raleigh and looked at museums and gardens. Everything about it was great. The staff are super nice (shoutout to Ronni from the front desk and Ben in the rooftop restaurant), the valets were all friendly and fast while I was in and out over the weekend, and the building itself is modern and sleek. The rooms were quiet and restful, even with people outside. It's also one block away from a fantastic BBQ restaurant called the Pit.

I had a wonderful stay, and I want to give special recognition to Bri for the incredible service she provided. I was dealing with a stressful situation involving my ID—while traveling, I realized I’d need my physical license for the airport on my return, and I only had a temporary one. I was feeling pretty anxious about how to handle it, but Bri immediately stepped in to help. She walked me through the process, reassured me, and made everything feel much more manageable while I arranged to have my license overnighted. When it arrived, she was on top of it—making sure it was received and that I got it without any issues. That level of attentiveness meant a lot. On top of that, she was able to get me into my room early, which I really appreciated after traveling, and she was consistently warm, kind, and accommodating throughout my stay. It wasn’t just one moment—she went out of her way in multiple ways to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Bri is truly an asset to your team. Her professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, and I’m very grateful for her help.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at a Hilton in Boston that we chose to book with Hilton again for our trip to Raleigh. Unfortunately, this stay was a major disappointment. We were shocked to discover that the hotel is located directly across from a detention facility, with clear views of inmates from our room window. This is not something any guest would reasonably expect—and it absolutely should have been disclosed at the time of booking. We requested a room change, and while we were eventually accommodated, it required an uncomfortable amount of back-and-forth with the front desk. The entire situation was unsettling and frankly disturbing. It’s hard to understand how a room with such a view would ever be considered acceptable without full transparency. This experience fell far short of the standards we expected. Hilton should do better in informing guests and ensuring a comfortable environment.

Actively staying here for a wedding. Every single person staying here with our party has had an issue with rooms being ready on time, or discrepancies in whether they paid or not already. Additionally it’s valet only for quite an expensive rate, making it more inconvenient to access your own car on your own time. Also my parents bathroom door fell off right before we were supposed to leave for rehearsal dinner, and they took 90 plus minutes to send someone up. Ridiculous would not recommend ever.

Rooms are modern and moody at the same time. Great location. I want to bottle the scent from the lobby. Awesome views from the rooftop restaurant/bar. Definitely will be back.

I have to say that as a long‑time Hilton Honors member, my experience with this location was very disappointing, particularly in regard to the responsiveness of the sales team. I had hoped to host my wedding ceremony and reception at this property, but I was met with what felt like resistance and a lack of follow‑through from both the sales team and management. Over the course of several weeks, I made multiple attempts to reserve the venue and received repeated “we’ll get back to you” responses, followed by no return calls and ultimately no communication at all. Because of this, we were forced to move forward with another venue. This was an unpleasant and frustrating experience, and it resulted in a significant loss of valuable planning time for an event scheduled for June 2026. As someone who has always trusted the Hilton brand, this situation was especially disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at Tempo by Hilton Raleigh Downtown. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully designed — I absolutely loved the layout of the hotel, it’s gorgeous. Check‑in was quick and easy, my room was comfortable, and both housekeeping and guest services were excellent. Everyone I interacted with (outside of breakfast) was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The Bluetooth capabilities built right into the bathroom mirror were such a nice touch and made getting ready even better. The only downside was the breakfast experience. Breakfast was wrapping up, but the way the attendant spoke to guests felt unnecessarily personal and rude. I could overhear her conversations, and at one point she said, “If we make food and you don’t eat it, we have to throw it away… and you should’ve come earlier. I’ve been here since 5:30 and breakfast starts at 6.” Her tone came across as dismissive and unprofessional, which didn’t match the otherwise great service from the rest of the staff. Parking is also on the expensive side, so that’s something to keep in mind. Overall, it’s a great hotel with strong service in most areas, and I’d stay again.
