About this place Lavender Library, Archives & Cultural Exchange

The Lavender Library, Archives & Cultural Exchange is a volunteer-run LGBTQ+ lending library and archive at 1414 21st Street in Midtown, a few blocks south of the K Street bars. It keeps a collection of queer books, films and local history, and its calendar is busy: Queer Crafternoon, book clubs, a queer writers' salon, game days, and groups such as Bi+Pan Sacramento, Ace/Aro and FTM Sacramento.

Google lists it open Friday and Monday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Because volunteers staff it, check the events page before you go.
