FilmOut San Diego LGBTQ Film Festival

The San Diego LGBT Film Festival is the annual showcase of LGBTQ+ cinema held each October in San Diego — a week-long programme of feature films, short films, and documentaries from the United States and internationally, with filmmakers in attendance, panel discussions, and community events surrounding the screenings. The festival has been presenting LGBTQ+ film to San Diego audiences since 1991 and operates across multiple cinema venues in the city. October in San Diego is the transition month between the summer season and the cooler months — reliably comfortable, less crowded than the summer peak, and an excellent time to visit the city. For LGBTQ+ film enthusiasts, the festival is the cultural highlight of the San Diego calendar outside of Pride.
