Our reservation was suddenly canceled less than a month before our stay, for "unforseen circumstances". No explanation was given, nor was anything done to compensate us for our displacement. Finding suitable alternate lodging in San Francisco on such short notice, and during a busy holiday week, was quite the difficult and inconvenient task!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, quiet BnB. The people were welcoming and available and the lobby/living area was so lovely that after a long day of sightseeing we got a bottle of wine and spent the afternoon enjoying just being there. The breakfast and always available coffee was a nice plus. We would definitely return and highly recommend!

Tremendously friendly and helpful staff. They understand the meaning of hospitality. The hotel is quite lovely with original 1900s decor and art. It is walking distance to SFJazz, City Hall and all the major concert venues. We stay there whenever we are in SF.

Very, very good service by employees; they were always ready to help and answer questions. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was excellent. This was a good location with a short Uber ride to most attractions we were interested in.

Such clean and spacious rooms but what really makes this place special is the staff. Amanda in particular is so sweet and really ensures you feel cared for.
